Flying the Friendly Skies Tomorrow!

I know I do not have to tell you that May seems like the busiest time of year. Graduations. Proms. All different kinds of planning and preparation.

The same goes for Sue Ann and Nurses With Purpose! They will be leaving tomorrow on a jet plane and God willing, landing in Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday.

This Free Medical Clinic has been in the planning stages for a year and we are thrilled and blessed and honored to have this bunch of people sacrificing their time and finances to bless our neighbors in Kenya.

While they are at Calvary Hope School, they will set up their stations and people will be coming to the clinic in the hundreds. The stamina needed is high. YOU can help empower and encourage our team by praying for them and also "buying" lunches for them.

It will be hot. It will be stuffy. It will be heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. We need to keep our team supported! Purchasing water and lunches (sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, snack bars, candy etc) is such an important gift that you can help with! They will be needing lunch for 5 days and there are 10 on our Team.

Head to kenyareal.org/donate and let us know you would like to help buy lunches for the nurses. Any amount will greatly help! And, when there are extra funds from your giving, they will go to our Feeding Program to ensure our 200plus students stay well fed!

Thank you for supporting these nurses. Thank you for praying for their safety and their own health too! Thank you for praying for each person they see and that healing will happen in a big way. God is glorified!

David in the Bible says, "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise."

Pray with us:

Loving God, I pray that you will comfort our Kenyan friends in their suffering, lend skill to the hands of their healers, and bless the means used for their cure. Give them such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when they may be afraid, they will put their whole trust in You. Give Sue Ann and each Nurse strength and stamina and protection. We pray this in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ,

Amen

p.s. Melvine, who went missing a year ago (we feel that she was "sold") has thankfully returned. She feels a lot of shame. We don't know her story and what all happened but we hope that while the nurses are there, they will listen and talk with her. We also hope that the other students will be kind to her and she will feel safe and cared for.
