May and June are months filled with graduations and milestones. We have another occasion to celebrate and give praise for.... Nurses With Purpose and Sue Ann are back home after an amazing time of healing, restoring, relationship building, and learning!
They were boots on the ground to listen and help 250 plus people in their health in the free medical clinic. The Nurses went on to lead and teach hand washing and the reasons it is so important. They helped lead First Aid with all their knowledge and expertise. They jumped right in with our kids, getting to know them. Showing them that nurses aren't scary but caring!
The four person team held a 2-day medical clinic right inside our Calvary Restored Church building. They went on to sit in and lean into our older student's lives. They restored health, by God's grace, and they gave hope.
Sue Ann made sure all were fed so they could stay strong. She encouraged them and introduced them to our family there. She continued building relationships, in love, with our Kenyan neighbors. She continues to commit to serving and loving like Jesus!
Thank you to all that helped feed our Nursing staff! Thank you for praying for safety and good health.
From the time boots were in the ground in Kenya to the time they headed back, prayers kept being answered. The entire team --Kenyan and non-Kenyan, worked together to help others! It's a beautiful thing when we unite together to make the world a better place.

In Hebrews 10: 24-25 it says, So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
