REALationships

Relationships are at the top of our mission for Kenya REAL. Our friends in Kenya are not projects---people are never projects. We are partners. In this life together. If we want to truly serve Jesus we will listen to each other, care for each other, and build each other up. We need to be REAL--Reach out, Empower each other, Act in Love. We can always grow. We can always learn more. We can always apologize, we can always act in humility.

Love trumps every thing! I Corinthians says, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Bob Goff says, "What Jesus said we could do is leave typical behind. Jesus told the people He was with that it’s not enough to just look like you love God. He said we’d know the extent of our love for God by how well we loved people."

Can we love better? Of course. That's the exciting part of REAL life on mission---God's not finished with us yet. More people to meet, more people to love, more people to grow closer to and do life with.
