Our Heart Posture

In Thessalonians 5:16-18 Paul gives us an idea for our posture....our heart posture! "Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live."

All across the world, kids are heading back to school. Our Calvary Hope School took a break also but never stopped having the kids come and spend time in Calvary's stable safe environment. This is a blessing and it is because of God's grace and your prayers and giving. 

I and five others are heading to see our Kenyan family September 18-October 3. We covet your prayers! Prayers for safety, good health, a listening and willing heart, a posture of learning and leaning in and loving! 

Would you also pray for our students? 

Please pray for:

• God’s divine protection, good health, and strength over every child and young person throughout the school year.

• Wisdom, understanding, respect, and a "do not give up" attitude in their studies, especially for those preparing for national and final examinations.

• Courage to be faithful witnesses of the love of Jesus Christ among their classmates, teachers, and communities.

• God’s provision for school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and every educational need at Calvary Hope School.

• Strength for our teachers, our cooks, our Manager, and Pastor Henry, and all students, and that each learner will grow in both knowledge and God's grace.

• Peace, encouragement, and perseverance as each child and young person grow to listen and learn the future God has prepared for them.

Thank you for caring and loving and being our Prayer Warriors. You are giving us and the students the best gift a person can give....Prayer to our Father who knows and sees. Whose love is higher, wider, longer, and deeper. Romans 8:31. If God is for us, who can be against us?
