Finally!

We've had this trip planned since late 2019. I have a feeling you can relate with plans going awry and totally turned upside down.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God says,

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

But Covid, weather storms and storms in life, and just knowing that life can be unpredictable, have messed with our plans. Putting our hope in God's timing isn't easy!

As of today, September 10, 2021, we are planning on flying out of the US September 14, Tuesday.

Four of us are going from various parts of the country and I am thrilled to be part of this team!

Hiccups are occurring constantly. The requirements needed to fly through France and into Kenya are being changed almost daily. We have to have negative tests before we can even board. Multiple forms to fill out and carry with us. My peace and joy is hanging on by a string.

And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

What I want you to do, that is if you accept this "mission", is to keep praying for us. "We" are: Naomi Navarro Sue Ann Brunty Ken McAloon Me, Janet Myers Please pray for.... *God's peace *Smooth transitions for all our flights *Negative Covid results *God to make a way where there seems to be no way *God to go before us preparing a way where we can be a blessing in Kenya *The CHOSEN Program to go better than planned *The Library mural I'm painting will turn out beautifully and honor God *The Business For Life and Farming Foundations programs will help many *Van maintenance and training with Ken and Kevin *Playground building supported by you! *Nurses With Purpose visiting *Potential classes of Computer Camp for Kids *Arranging awareness training in Sex Trafficking *Spending time with all the beautiful kids in school and around our school *Relationships to grow with our Kenyan family *Sharing Jesus and being His hands and feet and smile! *We personally grow closer and in deeper faith with our Savior. *Getting video and pictures to show you and update our website kenyareal.org *Face to face fellowship with our Pastor Henry, Eunice, and their family *Our Kenyan friends that are struggling even more because of Covid *Feeding kids on additional days *As we enter homes, we are a blessing and we share Christ's love *Sitting and listening and just being. Let God lead the way and open hearts to follow His lead There will hopefully be updates while we are in Kenya. When the internet is working, I'll post as much as I can! We need you. Your conversations with our Heavenly Father are like gifts we crave. There are a lot of things coming at us to drive us into despair and anxiety. Pray God reminds us of His hope, peace, and unchanging love. We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:20-22 We cling to His words...Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20 Our dates are September 14-October 12. Ken and Naomi have different return dates and I'll keep you posted for them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
